CHARLIE BURTON FOUNDATION is a Not for Profit Organization.


The registered office of the Organization is situated at 729 Gibnut Street, Belize City, Belize. The objects for which this Organization is established are:-

  1. To promote and enhance youth development in Belize.

  2. To foster promote and facilitate youth and adolescent male empowerment in Belize.

  3. To teach encourage and equip male youth to adopt and apply healthy lifestyle choices.

  4. To enhance and strengthen the collective and individual ability of Belizean youth to pursue and secure healthy futures.

  5. To create and provide life-enriching opportunities and resources for participants.

  6. To teach, train, equip and encourage young people to develop and adopt life skills including self-awareness, empathy, critical thinking, creative thinking, decision making, problem solving, effective communication, interpersonal relationships, coping with stress and emotions.

  7. To create and offer a safe environment and nurturing atmosphere conducive to developing positive character.

  8. To teach and promote the positive norms, values and mores of society to young people.

  9. To help male youth perceive a healthy sense of purpose and responsibility and spirituality and to promote encourage and teach healthy practices.

  10. To promote and foster interpersonal relationships based on positivity, accountability and  trust and to raise awareness about the challenges and social issues concerning young boys and men.

  11. To develop organize facilitate and maintain effective programs and strategies to enhance the personal development of young people.

  12. To promote environmental awareness and sustainable development with male youth as key beneficiaries and stewards within the Ambit of the same.

  13. To foster and forge inter-generational activities, mentorships, relationships and guidance and values.

  14. To assist in identifying, recognizing, assessing and deterring risk-taking behaviors among young people in a healthy and effective manner.

  15. To promote sports and culture.

  16. To promote civic pride responsibility and healthy attitudes among male youth in Belize.

  17. To engage and cooperate with Belizeans and others at home and in the diaspora and elsewhere in furtherance of the aims and objectives of the Foundation towards the attainment thereof.

  18. To engage in any one or more action or activities in Belize or elsewhere or do or cause to be done anything which the Association may deem conducive to the furthermore or attainment of any one or more or all of its aims or objectives.

  19. To promote and foster good mental health and physical health for young boys and men.

  20. To provide young people with adult mentors who hold healthy beliefs, practices and standards.

  21. To sponsor and promote social outreach.

  22. To provide humanitarian aid for the body, mind and spirit

  23. To help human needs and to promote a more humane society and to provide counseling and other assistance for the betterment of humankind

  24. To sponsor and promote programs for the needs of the underprivileged youth

  25. To sponsor financial and food programs for the underprivileged and needy.

  26. To promote awareness of self-help through self-effort.​

  27. To carry out any or all of the above objectives and to do all such thing as the Foundation can lawfully do in Belize or elsewhere as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above goals and objectives.
